Problems with peeing in the house

My 7 year old Maltese has started peeing at different places in the house. I take him outside to do his business and when weather is bad, he has pee pee pads available. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

First I would want to know male or female and whether or not your pet is spayed or neutered as there certainly can be a behavioral component to urinating in the house.

I would also recommend seeing your veterinarian to rule out medical causes of inappropriate urination like renal issues or a urinary tract infection.
