just saw your commercial about the lack of grains and oats in the dogs diet, my 9 yr old golden retriever as it turns out is without grains and oats, so what dog food do you recommend? my dog is sleeping all the time now and has low energy and putting on wieght even though we hold him too 2 cups a day. We live in Oregon

I typically recommend Hills or Royal Canin both are very high quality and are heavily researched by the companies that make them. With weight gain and low energy, hypothyroid Is something to consider so definitely talk to your vet about these clinical signs you are noticing. With that being said, keep in mind that like us, dogs do slow down as they age!
