Shih-Tzu, 7 yrs old. She makes a cry sound because she makes the ear bleed on the flap. I’ve took her to several vets. She has had cleaning solutions.
and antibiotics, ear mite meds, They all said No Signs of Ear Mites, Other Mites. I give her a monthly flea pill. That don’t stop it either.. I have chickens that is not caged. Could she possibly have a Chicken Mite? I Dust them and Spray my yard Monthly. But, I am at a loss When it comes to what I need to do with my babygirl Shih-Tzu.

I love Shih-Tzus and I am so sorry to hear about your poor girls chronic issues! Given how chronic the ears seem to be for her, I would be concerns about antibiotic resistance and would FIRST recommend culturing the ear. This is different that a routine ear tests that looks generally for mites, bacteria and yeast. A culture actually grows the bacteria present and then determines appropriate antibiotic therapy. So, I would probably start with culturing the ears. One thing to consider, IF ALL ELSE FAILS, is a TECA which is when the ear canal is removed in chronic otitis patients once all other options have been exhausted!
