what can I do about this. She was such a good dog and still is with humans and kids. Loves them. Since being attacked at least 4 times she has become so dog on dog aggressive. I do not want to put her down as she is my last dog, I am elderly, young elderly but know she is the last. She is 7 1/2 and I have had her almost 6 yrs now and love her so much. She is a Lab/GermanShepherd. Can you give me any suggestions . I use the Halti collar now along with another collar leashed. Please help as I do not want to lose her. Thank you

Thanks Arlene and sorry that your pup is showing leash aggression. I would suggest looking into an animal behaviorist or trainer to help with the issue. In the meantime, the simple answer is avoid other dogs completely when walking her. If you see other dogs approaching or from a distance, turn around and walk in a different direction etc. By avoiding other dogs, she won't be in a position to display aggression and until you are able to develop a relationship with a trainer or behaviorist, this is the safest option for you and her!
