Is it okay to walk your dog on the sidewalk with salt on the ground?

Sometimes walking your dog on salty ground is a unavoidable! Unfortunately salt can burn or sting paw pads so if possible use boots or paw protectants to protect your pets paws! And, whenever possible use pet safe deicing products!
