How to clear up a staph infection on top of a cat’s paw

She won’t tolerate doxycycline or Atopica. Steroids don’t help. Antibiotic injection and a topical ointment aren’t helping.

Skin infections can be tough to treat! I would first want to know whether or not a bacterial culture has been taken to determine the exact organism(s) is that is causing the issue (eg which staph) and which antibiotic specifically is it susceptible to, this is a test that your veterinarian would perform.
